FIRST LIFE BROADENS PRODUCT LINE THROUGH VARIABLE LIFE

Keeping up with the changing needs of the Filipino families, First Life Financial Co., Inc. broadens its product line with the launch of its variable life insurance product, 1st Investment Plus.First Life President and CEO Peter Coyiuto relates variable life insurance to the life stages of an individual and believes that the product best complements the needs of those who are preparing for their retirement years. "While traditional life insurance products focus on addressing the financial needs of the single and married people, as well as parents; variable life insurance is a form of reward for those in their 40s; those who have already accomplished their respective roles in life who are now much-deserving to reap the fruits of their hardwork. This product can surely be one of the greatest gifts that they can give themselves."

The company also considers the recent upgrade of the Philippines' credit ratingas a significant player in its entry to the variable life market. Account values of variable life insurance products are directly linked to the performance of the investment funds chosen by a policyholder. With a positive market outlook, policyholders will have a greater opportunity to earn higher rewards through the product.

This latest offering from First Life offers its policyholders with life insurance protection up to age 99 for a one-time cash outlay of P 50,000.00. 1st Investment Plus also gives freedom to its policyholders to invest their funds in 1st Peso Bond Fund, 1st Peso Balanced Fund, and 1st Peso Equity Fund. Funds invested under 1st Investment Plus will be expertly handled by the largest asset manager in the country, BPI Asset Management and Trust Group.

First Life is one of the country's leading providers of employee benefits products and services with over half a century of existence in the industry. The company takes pride in being the sole network partner of Swiss Life Insurance and Pension Company, the world's largest employee benefits network.
